A SMI course on Kaehler-Einstein metrics will be held at Palazzone in Cortona on April 30th-May 6th. The main speaker is Cristiano Spotti; talks will be given by Gao Chen, Paul Gauduchon, Long Li, Alexandra Otiman, Chengjian Yao, Kai Zheng.
Aim of the course is to present classical and recent results on Kaehler-Einstein metrics on compact complex manifolds, focusing on existence (e.g., Yau’s proof of the Calabi’s conjecture, alpha invariant criterion), obstructions, relations to algebraic geometric notions of stability (e.g. K-stability) and examples (e.g., KE metrics on Toric Fano manifolds).
The event is supported by: Scuola Matematica Interuniversitaria; Dipartimento di Matematica e Informatica "Ulisse Dini", Firenze; SIR2014 AnHyC "Analytic aspects in complex and hypercomplex geometry" (code RBSI14DYEB); GNSAGA-INdAM.
